TJ Warren’s Basketball Week Camp of 2022 marks the 5th year of this wildly popular event. While this camp is intended to be an annual endeavor, the effects of COVID 19 created an interruption in 2021. This year the camp is back and better than ever.
For safety concerns we are limiting the camp to 100 participants ranging from rising 4th graders to rising 8th graders and we are suggesting that you register your child as soon as possible. We have payment arrangements available on the registration site for those that may enjoy the flexibility of having those options available.
Your child will benefit from skills training from noted professionals and experts in the sport. A well balanced lunch will be provided for each day, and they will receive a swag bag filled with great gifts that will make them the envy of all of their friends. Each child will get to personally meet TJ, and we will have some surprise guests that will provide role model presentations!
As it relates to COVID 19- we will closely monitor local, regional, and national developments, and will make decisions based on current industry recommendations and advice as it becomes available. As new information arises or new protocols develop, our procedures may change. To this end, if you register your child, please check your emails frequently for updates. As of now, we have the following information available for you to review:
Vaccination for all participants is strongly encouraged.
Masks will be available for each participant that wishes to wear one.
Enrollment will be limited so that we can safely operate in small groups.
Sanitizing stations will be set up and we will encourage hand washing between each activity.
We have disinfection routines in place to ensure a safe and clean environment
In 2014, Warren was in the running for the 38th Annual Wooden Award which is awarded to the National Player of the Year for the collegiate basketball season. He was named to the Mid-Season Wooden Watch list where he was one of 25 players seriously considered for the award.
At the end of the 2014 season, Warren was one of the top in the ACC in offensive rebounds and is among the league leaders in both overall rebounding and steals. At the conclusion of the regular season, Warren was named ACC Player of the Year. Warren was also named second team All-American by the Associated Press and The Sporting News at the end of the season, as well as first team All-ACC.
Our Three Main Goals
Tutoring & Mentoring
The goal is to provide scholarship opportunities for High School Seniors. We will establish a learning center for tutoring and mentoring purposes with various partnerships in the Triangle Area. The learning center will also assist youth with Homework and SAT preparation. The goal is to provide structure and support for children being raised in a single parent home. We also strive to provide educator support for those in need of classroom supplies, training, and other classroom initiatives.
